Hi, my name is Linda Brink, a US citizen and passionate believer in using complementary and alternative therapeutic remedies. For the past six years I have been on location in NZ working to bring back home to the US, two unique therapeutic NZ native tea-tree oils, i.e. manuka and kanuka, used by the native (Maori) tribes of NZ for over 1,000 years.
When I return to Ft Lauderdale, I will be converting our family owned retail shop on SE 17th Ave into the retail pilot showcase which will also serve the "Tribal" products distribution hub. While the Covid-19 pandemic was disruptive, it has not in any way changed the business plan developed to launch the “Tribal” brand of mānuka/kānuka oil based consumer health, wellness, skin and hair care products from a pilot showcase retail shop in the heart of the Ft Lauderdale tourist / holiday maker area, home to Port Everglades where some of the world's most expensive mega-yachts visit/base for charter work in the Caribbean.
The pilot showcase will serve as both the retail launch site and product distribution & fulfillment center. The oil will be imported by US incorporated Tribal Therapeutics Inc from Manuka Oil Technology Ltd, the NZ Co-Ops oil extraction company in NZ.
Product bottling and packaging is to be outsourced to a contract cosmetics packaging company in the Boca Raton area. An NDA has been exchanged in readiness and the first shipment of 400kgs of oil which will fill 20,000 X 20ml bottles of “Tribal” mānuka/kānukaoil. This is planned to be followed by a further shipment of 600kgs in year one which will provide me with the oil I need to achieve the year one sales forecasts. In year one we target 2,000 kgs which will see us achieve our 1st year sales target of USD5M at retail level.
This will lay a great foundation of which to build the more ambitious year 2 target of 5,000 kgs. Because of the ongoing US capital program and distribution infrastructure planning the team is working on, I am cautiously confident of achieving this target

The "showcase" will operate out of premises owned by my family and used as the office/HQ of our family's realty brokerage and property management firm for the past 46 years.
Located in the heart of the city's tourism belt, it is without doubt, one of the best spots in the city in which to setup the pilot retail outlet and product fulfillment hub.
What I love about my location is the fact that I can take my out of town guests to a great Irish "cafe" next door for coffee, (during business hours) where we can talk sales, marketing and distribution of these exciting natural therapeutic remedies from a truly exotic country way down in the southern reaches of the great Pacific Ocean..
